About Briannon

Briannon has been a successful FEI competitor for the last 6 years in the FEI Junior, FEI Young Rider and Advanced divisions. She has also worked with countless developing horses. She has been the recipient of Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal Awards from Dressage Canada as well as the winner of over 20 National Level Awards.

Briannon began riding in 2001, when she began training with Canadian Team Member and 1999 Pan Am Games competitor Simone Williams. With her first horse Touch of Gold she excelled in the dressage ring, resulting in the acquisition of an additional mount. In the fall of 2002, La Valse was purchased, and Briannon set out on her goal to learn all that she could from the schoolmaster, while still competing both horses equally.

For four years Briannon progressed through the levels with both horses, from Training Level through to a very successful Young Rider campaign in 2006. During that time she  was fortunate enough to take part in many clinics with such acclaimed international dressage riders as  Cynthia Ishoy, Neil Ishoy, Kathy Amos Jacob and Belinda Trussel.

In Deceomber 2006 Briannon and her family re-located to Stonecreek Farm where she could lay the foundations and begin the necessary training to pursue her future goals.

In 2008 Briannon began training with 3 time Olympian and Level 3 coach Gina Smith as well as Canadian Team Member and Level 3 coach Susanne Dutt Roth.

Briannon continues to train with Gina as well as Susanne and will be pursuing her career here at Stonecreek Farm in Gananoque, Ontario. In addition to continuing to compete at the FEI level, Briannon is bringing along multiple young horses as well as training her students and their own horses. Her future goals include representing Canada at the Pan American Games, FEI World Cup, World Equestrian Games and Olympics.
